A New Chapter

This is it!  I've finally reached the end of the semester as well as my Masters program.  I'm starting to feel excited, knowing that I'll be graduating soon; that is provided I pass these last two courses this semester.  Anyway, without sounding too mushy, I would just like to state my deepest appreciation to Dr. Rivera for all her encouragement and support throughout the courses that I've taken under her.  I don't think that I would have been able to come this far without her help, along with Dr. Stoicovy's and Grace Griffin's support, as well.  I would also like to say, "Nice knowing you," to Joe.  I really enjoyed chatting with you and providing feedback and comments from one another.  Good luck, Joe!  I hope you pass the Praxis II, too.  Farewell, but not goodbye!

  1. Geri,

You're most welcome! Congratulations on a job well done! It has been a pleasure having you as a student. I encourage you to continue to promote literacy and empower your students. MASE is lucky to have you as a veteran teacher. Kudos to you!

    All the best,
    Dr. Rivera

  3. Thank you Geri for your post, and most of all your guidance and company this semester. It was wonderful to finally get to meet you, and chat about how things are in the program, and most of all you told me what to expect! Thank you so much for your guidance on the Praxis (I hope I am just as successful as you are). Adios and take care...
I hope to see you around in the near future.
    Si Joe.

    1. Joe,
You'll do just fine. When the going gets rough, just think about how close you are to graduating and that all that hard work would finally pay off for you. When I think back to when I first started my masters program, I can't help but feel a bit nostalgic, because although it's been a long hard road, I wouldn't trade it for the world. The knowledge and friendships that I gained during this time will be forever, and I will always cherish the memories that I acquired. Take care Joe, and I hope to see you around again. I'm always available to assist you in your endeavors, so don't hesitate to let me know if and when you need my help. :)
